Can I create a Will in Covet?

Covet does facilitate the self-creation of a will.

This is one of the greatest features of Covet! While you are cataloging and organizing all the things you value, Covet is automatically creating and updating a will and an Estate Summary in the background.

One of the biggest flaws with traditional and most online methods of creating wills and other estate planning documents is that they are effectively a single transaction where people walk away with a "snapshot in time" of their lives.

But our lives change. People get married. They have babies. Babies eventually turn 18. We buy new assets. we sell old assets. Sometimes not-so-nice things happen like a spouse being diagnosed with a terminal disease or cognitive decline. People sometimes get divorced. When these changes happen, people using the traditional models often do not go back to update their estate planning documents because it is a chore, too expensive, or both.

With Covet, you can make changes anytime you like and you don't pay any more. Once you make your changes in Covet, you can reprint your estate documents, execute them, and replace the old copies with the new. For more instructions on how to do this read "How do I view and print my estate documents."
