How do I view and print my estate plan documents?

Most states require estate planning documents to be printed and executed (signed, witnessed, notarized) in paper, hard copy form. All states recognized them in hard copy form. For this reason, in order for your wishes to be recognized by the legal community in the future, it is necessary to print and execute them.

Once you have entered all of the following:

  1. Your personal information (name, address, email, phone, etc)
  2. Your spouse's information
  3. Your beneficiaries
  4. Set your default beneficiary allocations
  5. Entered all the assets you want to include in your plans (and set any specific allocations for these)

Then...

  1. Go your Vault by selecting "Vault" from the menu in the upper lefthand corner
  2. Go the "My Documents" section in the lower lefthand corner of the Vault
  3. For the Estate Summary, click "View" and then "View Print & Sign" Your estate summary will open on your screen. Scroll to the bottom, read and follow the important instructions on the last page, and click "Print" and follow your computer or phone's subsequent printing procedures.
  4. For the Will, click "View" and click on the printer icon (the location of this will differ depending your device and which app/software your device opens the Will document in).
