What happens if I cancel my Covet account?

As long as your account has an active subscription, all your information is kept securely and privately in Covet’s database. For more information on the security and privacy of your account, read the article "Are my Assets and Information Publically Available?"

You can cancel your Covet subscription. If you do so, your account will remain active through the last day of your current billing cycle. On your billing anniversary date, your account will cease to function and your account information will enter a 90-day data retention period. When you log in during this 90-day data retention period you will be prompted to re-subscribe to re-activate your account. If you do not re-subscribe during the 90-day data retention period, your account will be deleted and your information will be purged from our records. In that scenario, if you decide to sign up for Covet again, you will be starting from the beginning - none of your previous information will be retained for that new account. To reestablish an complete picture of your estate assets and create your estate plan documents again in Covet, you would need to enter your information again.
