What is my Covet Vault?

Once you have gone through initial setup, you will be taken to your Covet Vault.

Your Covet Vault is a central and digitally-secure place where all your information, assets, beneficiaries, wishes and legal estate summary documents are stored. Your entire estate and plans all in one place, organized clearly. Any changes, whether they are additions, modifications or deletions, can be made easily from your Vault. Your beneficiaries will have the opportunity to create their own Vaults too. Another way to think of your Vault is as your main dashboard.

The Covet Vault features five major sections where critical information about your life and estate can be found easily and changes can be made quickly. The five major sections are:

1. Vaults

Vault-Desktop-Vaults-1Toggling between vaults in this section changes the view in the Assets section to the right to see a comprehensive picture of what your vault contains as well as each of your beneficiaries vaults.

 2. Assets

The Assets section of the vault is divided into categories and also shows your total estate value as well as your liabilities and Net estate value. It also provides insights on how your estate is distributed among the asset categories and shows change in value over time. Within this section you can expand each Category to view all the assets within that particular category and/or add a new asset to your Covet vault.

3. Your Documents ("My Documents")

In "My Documents" you can view and print your estate summary for hard copy signature as well as create a will and view and print your will for signature, witnessing and notary. The day may come in the future when these kinds of documents can be signed and stored electronically, but not all states have statutes allowing that at this time. In the future, when states allow this, Covet will evolve to accommodate this kind of signing and storage.

4. Allocations

The Beneficiaries Allocations section shows an aggregation of each of your beneficiary allocations in dollar terms as well as percentage terms. It can be helpful in finding the "balance" that feels right for you.

5. Actions

The Actions section provides a quick way to make changes as life unfolds. It is worth noting that all of these same actions can be achieved by using the Menu located in the upper left hand corner also.
